An easy drive on the Autovia freeway brings us to Barcelona, a city with a cosmopolitan flair and the host of the Olympic Games of 1992. |

| Day 25 | |||

A local guide will walk with us through the winding streets and quaint little plazas of Barcelona's classic medieval Gothic quarter. Then we will take one of the hop-on, hop-off sightseeing buses which brings us to the many other sights like the Columbus Monument and the harbor. The highlight might be a visit to the spectacular buildings created by Antoni Gaudi, the Casa Mila and the unique La Sagrada Familia church. During our leisure time we may visit one of the museums, stroll along lively, tree-lined "La Rambla" boulevard or rest at a sidewalk cafe. |

| Day 26 | |||

This morning we will drive to Ribes, a little town located in the foothills of the Catalan Pyrenees. From there we will go on an excursion via the exciting little “Cremallera” railroad to Vall de Nuria located 5,900 ft above sea level. After noon we will have a scenic drive through the mountains to Figures. |

| Figures is the town of Salvador Dali’s birth and we will have a tour of his spectacular Theatre-Museum. Our campground has a nice restaurant where we will have dinner. |

| Day 27 | |||
| Today we leave Spain and return to France. Our campground is located on the beach at the Golfe du Lion, close to Sete. In the afternoon we will visit Sete, a delightful harbor town, and have a boat excursion through France's largest Mediterranean fishing port and along the beautiful coast. |

Day 28 |

This afternoon we ride a little tourist train through Avignon’s narrow streets and cafe filled squares inside the ring of the old city walls and see the outstanding residence of the medieval popes, the Palais des Papes and the famous Pont d’Avignon.

| Day 29 | |||

From Avignon we head toward the Alpine mountains. Our campground for tonight is located at Lake Annecy, in the French Alps. We will visit the little lakeside town, Annecy, and stroll along the ancient canals lined with medieval houses and crossed by geranium-covered bridges. We will try a Raclette dinner, the local specialty, in one of the restaurants. |

A beautiful scenic drive brings us through alpine countryside to Switzerland. We will have a tour of a Swiss cheese factory with lunch. After that we will ride a little tourist train and visit the typical mountain village of Gruyeres. |

| Day 31 | |||

This morning we visit Bern, Switzerland's capital. On our guided walking tour we see the Muenster, Bern's cathedral, and the famous clock tower in the west gate of the old city walls. A walk along the pretty streets lined with arcades and past 250 medieval fountains which once were donated by the different guilds, brings us to the Bear Pits, where three Pyrenean bears still live. In the afternoon we leave Bern and have a short drive to the Bernese Oberland and the alpine resort of Interlaken. |

Day at leisure in Interlaken, which is impressively situated with outstanding scenery between the serene waters of Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. You might take the cog railway up the Jungfrau mountain or just enjoy the beautiful views from our campground.

| Day 33 | |||

We leave Switzerland and come back to France, to Colmar in the charming Alsace region. There we have a guided walking tour of the cobbled pedestrian streets lined with pretty half-timbered houses. We also visit the Unterlinden museum with its famous altarpiece and tour the house where Bartholdi, creator of the Statue of Liberty was born. In your free time you might be tempted to buy some of the delicious Alsatian food specialties in one of the various stores.

|
We’ll leave Colmar in the morning and head for Germany. In the early afternoon we’ll arrive at our campground and have time to pack our suitcases. |

|
This morning we will return our rental motorhomes. A shuttle brings us to our comfortable hotel, which is located in downtown Frankfurt. You might stroll through Frankfurt's lively cosmopolitan city center before we meet for our farewell dinner.

After breakfast we say Auf Wiedersehen and a shuttle brings you to the airport for your return flight (flight not included)
