Day 15

This morning we leave our motorhomes at the railway station in the little town of Diapokto and take the narrow gauge train for a beautiful ride up the mountains to Kalavrita.

Due to construction on the railway the train ride might not be possible in 2008

  Day 16

On our route to Athens we visit Ancient Corinth and stop to admire the Corinth Canal.

Day 17

This morning we not only see the Acropolis and the classical sights but also the colorful busy alleys in the old quarter of Athens where we'll host lunch. The afternoon is free to explore this fascinating city on your own.

    Days 18+19
When you're in Greece you shouldn't miss  seeing the islands! Therefore we'll leave our rental motorhomes at our campground in Athens and have a 4 hour cruise to Mykonos. Don't forget your camera when our ferry arrives in the port of Mykonos with its characteristic windmills amid dazzling white houses.  This evening we have dinner in a tavern and how about learning Greek dancing at night? We'll spend the night in a comfortable hotel. The next morning there is enough time for an optional trip to Delos or just to relax and stroll through the picturesque narrow alleys of Mykonos-Town.  In the afternoon we'll take the ferry for our return cruise to the mainland.

Next day our bus picks us up at the campground for a guided tour of Homer's Mycenae and the wonderfully preserved old town and fortress of Nauplia where we host lunch.
