  Day 23
   
Our first highlights today are the spectacular views from and of the marvelous Cliffs of Moher. Then we tour Bunratty Castle. The castle, built in 1425, is the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland. Within the grounds of Bunratty Castle is the Bunratty Folk Park where 19th Century life is vividly recreated in a living village and rural setting.
     
  Day 24-  

Today we have an exciting day as we experience a coach tour of one of the most scenic drives of Europe, around the famous Ring of Kerry. Brightly colored farm houses, the Black Mountains, the shimmering lakes of Killarney from Queen Victoria’s Ladies View and the lush vegetation are parts of this breathtaking drive.

A traditional lunch is included.

 

 
     
 

 

 
  Day 25  
This morning we visit Blarney Castle where you might kiss the magical Stone of Eloquence. In the afternoon we arrive at our campground on the beach.  
     
     
  Day 26  

A visit to the famous Waterford Crystal factory shows us how the craftspeople transform glowing balls of crystal into perfectly exquisite shapes. We’ll also meet the master cutters and engravers and hear about the history of Waterford Crystals.

 
In the afternoon we’ll arrive in the lively little town of Kilkenny, considered by many people to be the most beautiful town in Ireland. After a tour of the castle we will have dinner in the house of Alice Kyteler, who escaped to England in 1324 after being accused of witchcraft.
     
   
  Day 27  
A short drive brings us to the interesting Abbey of Jerpoint where a  local guide will show us the ruins. In the early afternoon we’ll arrive at our campground in Wexford.  
 

 

 

 
 

Day 28

 
This morning we board a ferry and arrive in Wales in the early afternoon. After a pleasant drive we arrive in Cardiff, capital of Wales.  
     
  Day 29  
 

The outstanding collection of old farmhouses, workshops, stores and houses set up in an open air museum in the outskirts of Cardiff is our first destination today.

In the afternoon we cross the Mouth of the Severn over a mighty bridge and drive to England’s best preserved Georgian city, Bath

 

 
  Day 30  
Our sightseeing in Bath includes a visit to the ancient Roman Baths and Pump Room. Then you are free to explore this beautiful town on your own.

In the afternoon we traverse the quiet green countryside to the mysterious ancient stone monoliths of Stonehenge.

     
     
     
     
  Day 31  

This morning we tour the Historic Dockyard in the Harbour of Portsmouth and visit Nelson’s sailing ship the HMS Victory. While walking on the ship we see the Great Cabin where the battle of Trafalgar was planned and the spot where Nelson died.

After the tour you are free to visit the other museums, the D-Day Museum or The Royal Naval Museum or just to stroll along the long promenade of Portsmouth.

 

     
     
  Day 32  
 

Today we have a nice drive along the coast. En route we’ll come through the well-known British seaside resort of Brighton, with its elegant villas along the promenade.

 
     
     
     
Day 33

A short ferry ride brings us in the morning to the continent.

 

 

In the afternoon we have a boat tour of the canals in Bruges, arguably the most beautiful city in Belgium. Taste the local speciality, chocolate and get tempted by the laces you might buy here.  
     
  Day 34  
 

We’ll leave Bruges in the morning and head for Germany. In the early afternoon we’ll arrive at our campground in Dusseldorf.

 
     
  Day 35  

A Rhine cruise will show us many sights of Dusseldorf, which is located at the Rhine River. The afternoon is at leisure.

 

 
  Day 36  
 

This morning we will return our rental motorhomes. A shuttle brings us to our comfortable hotel, which is located within walking distance of downtown Dusseldorf. You might do some last shopping on Dusseldorf's well-known “Kö” before we meet for our farewell dinner.

 

 
  Day 37 / July 1st,  2010  
 

After breakfast we say Auf Wiedersehen and a shuttle brings you to the airport for your return flight (flight not included)
