| We will pick you up at the airport and accompany to our comfortable hotel. In the afternoon you will meet your fellow caravanners at our first briefing. Then we’ll have our delicious welcome dinner. | |||

|
After a breakfast buffet, we pick up the rental motorhomes. We will have an orientation before we drive to a supermarket to stock up with groceries. In the afternoon our European motorhome tour takes us for an easy drive on the autobahn to Antwerp, Belgium. | ||

This morning we will visit the famous Diamond center before we go to the interesting old town of Antwerp with its impressive Cathedral, lively squares and beautiful old guild houses. In the afternoon we drive to Dunquerke and visit the Memorial du Souvenir museum. Here we learn about “Operation Dynamo” which permitted the evacuation of over 330 000 allied soldiers from the Dunkirk beaches to Dover, in 1940.

| Day 5: | |||

|
After a pleasant ferry ride across the Channel we’ll arrive in Dover, GB. Dover Castle, which rises on the cliffs 400 ft above the port is not only one of England’s oldest and best-known castles. Hidden deep under ground is the extensive network of secret wartime tunnel headquarters, which were also used during the evacuation of Dunkirk. During our tour of the secret tunnel system you can stand in the same room where Ramsey issued orders and look out over the English Channel from the hidden balcony just like Churchill did. In the afternoon we become acquainted with driving our motorhomes on the left side of the road on our way to London.

On our all day sightseeing tour we see the highlights of London: Westminster Abbey where kings and queens have been crowned and where many state weddings have taken place, Big Ben and the Parliament buildings, Buckingham Palace and the colourful Changing of the Guard ceremony. After a hosted lunch in a traditional London pub, we visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London where we meet the magnificent Beefeaters, and the Jewel House which displays the Crown Jewels. |

From our campground it is a nice bus ride to the Piccadilly Circus square, right in the center of town. There you might enter one of the hop on, hop off sightseeing buses and discover more of the exciting sights, museums and galleries of London on your own |

| Day 8: | |||
|
|
An easy drive will bring us to Oxford, a university town since the 11th Century. In the afternoon we meet our local guide who will show us some of the famous colleges such as Christ Church College, Magdalen College or All Souls College near the three million volume Bodleien Library.

This morning we have an entertaining tour of Britain’s largest palace, Blenheim Palace where Winston Churchill was born. In the afternoon we have a scenic drive through the beautiful Cotswold Hills and visit little medieval market towns. |

Our campground is located on the banks of the Avon River. A local guide will stroll with us through the streets of Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon-Avon. Later we'll head further North, to York. |

| Day 11: | |||
|
|
We have a tour of the enormous and magnificent Minster (cathedral) of York which is located in the heart of the old city. After that we might stroll along the top of the old city walls or do some shopping in the tempting little stores before we leave for Durham. There we'll visit the beautiful Norman church.
