  Day 1 We meet you at the airport in Frankfurt, Germany and accompany you to your comfortable hotel. Welcome dinner and briefing in the evening.
Point Alpha
Day 2 Breakfast buffet, transfer to rental station. Pick up your fully equipped motorhome. Following motorhome orientation stock up on supplies in a supermarket. Cross the former border line to East Germany (DDR). Tour of Point Alpha, a former border observation point of the US Forces.
  Day 3 Guided tour of the impressive Wartburg fortress in Eisenach where Martin Luther translated the New Testament. In the afternoon guided tour of the old town in Weimar.
Buchenwald
Day 4 Guided tour of the Buchenwald concentration camp. Drive to Potsdam - close to Berlin.
  Day 5 Sightseeing tour of Potsdam. See the charming old town and the Glenicker Bridge where spies were exchanged. Lunch in a restaurant. Tour of the imposing palaces and parks of Sanssouci.
Wartburg fortress
Day 6 All day sightseeing tour of Berlin. See the Brandenburg Gate, the government quarter with the Reichstag Parliament, Checkpoint Charlie, and a part of the Berlin Wall. Lunch in a restaurant.  
Meissen, town

Day 7 Visit to a workshop demonstration and the fascinating porcelain museum of the Meissen porcelain factory. Visit to the old town of Meissen.

Reichstag, Berlin
  Day 8 Guided tour of Dresden. See the glorious opera house, the Frauenkirche (church) and the baroque Zwinger palace. Time to explore on your own.
Weimar
Prague
Days 9 & 10  After a short drive or caravan arrives in Prague, Czech Republic. Sightseeing tour of beautiful Prague. See the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, St. Vitus cathedral and the old town square with its astronomical clock. Next day is free to explore Prague on your own.
Frauenkiirche, Dresden
  Day 11 Guided tour of the 13th century castle of Hluboka. Tour of the Budvar (Budweiser) brewery and beer tasting.
 
Prague, Charles bridge
Day 12 Drive to Krems, Austria. Cruise on the lovely Danube, wine tasting and dinner.
Vienna, national library
Days 13 & 14 Short drive to Vienna. Sightseeing tour to see the Parliament and the city hall, the theater, St. Charles and St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Hofburg (Imperial Palace). Ride on the Ferris wheel in the famous Prater amusement park. The next day is free to explore on your own.

Budapest, view from Fishermen's Bastion
Days 15 & 16 Arrival in Budapest, Hungary. Guided city tour. See the medieval Castle Hill, the impressive Matthias Church, the Chain bridge and the Parliament building. Enjoy the views from Fishermen's Bastion and Citadel Hill. Dinner in a restaurant followed by a colorful folklore show. The next day is free to discover Budapest on your own.
